Overview

At Momence, I lead design across a broad product surface used by studios, gyms, and wellness businesses to manage their operations and customer experience. As the only designer, I work across desktop and mobile, turning complex product requirements, host feedback, and technical constraints into flows that are clear, scalable, and practical to implement.

I work closely with product, engineering, leadership, and customer-facing teams to shape features from early discovery to delivery. This includes using host interviews and internal feedback to understand real studio workflows, define edge cases, align trade-offs, and make sure solutions work for both the business and the people using the product.

I’ve worked on a wide range of areas, including AI-powered features, sales and communication tools, dashboards, booking and payment experiences, and operational flows for hosts and staff. A big part of the challenge is designing for very different user types. From business owners managing growth and retention, to staff handling day-to-day operations, to end customers booking and managing services.

  • Simplified complex SaaS workflows across customer management, memberships, messaging, sales, and studio operations.
  • Improved data-heavy interfaces by creating clearer hierarchy, better grouping, and more actionable customer information.
  • Made AI workflows more transparent by clarifying what AI can do, what requires setup, and when staff need to step in.
  • Designed safer rule-based experiences for memberships, cancellation policies, exceptions, and operational settings.
  • Strengthened UX copy across labels, helper text, warnings, validations, and empty states.
  • Translated host feedback into product improvements through interviews, research synthesis, and iterative design.
